CHAPTER THREE: Of Dragons and Poison

[There's not another death until the seventh week. Viola the Homebound is who the Storyteller selects. Giving her a special poison, she promises a quick to her new life back home.

Tricking Maria Campbell the Replaced Heroine into giving her a recipe, Viola prepares a poisoned batch of donuts as well as lacing some chicken with the poison. Feeding the donuts to Nanako Dojima the Welcomer and Mikhail Our Mistake eating the chicken, Viola waits.

Nanako dies in front of the others in the picnic area while Mikhail dies in mid-air. With Esther the Harpist on his back and Dani the Witches Bane below him, Mikhail kills both girls by accident.

Viola's trickery is quickly found out when no one believed that Maria would make such shoddy food. She's torn to pieces by a purple-haired girl in her execution.

No one feels that sorry for her, this time.
