OOC Rules

1. Be Respectful

We might be playing children but that doesn't mean we have to act like it. We're here to have fun, after all. That said, a lot of serious things can happen or be discussed in a murder game but that doesn't mean they should always be taken lightly. Gallows humor about the previous case isn't forbidden but making jokes about something along the lines of abuse or rape is. Of course, there are more topics under that umbrella; just... don't be an asshole.

Just let your local mod know if something is becoming an issue. If it happens once, you'll get a warning and you still continue to behave like that your character is getting an execution and you're out.

2. IC=/=OOC

Tensions run high ICly in murder games. Sometimes that runs over into OOC interactions. We all get worked up during a high-stakes trial but in the end your character isn't you and you aren't your character. Try not to take things too personally.

If your character doesn't have any information about something, be it for a case or for another character's canon try not to bring it in.

3. Remember to Be Active

The AC might be gentle at ten comments between one or two threads but it exists. Please remember to do it. You can even use your activity threads for regains later. If something comes up, let me know and we can co me up with something.

4. It's a secret; can you keep it?

A big part of a murder game is keeping secrets. We're all building an experience together and if we don't agree to keep some things quiet until the time is right, it'll fall through.

5. Spoilers

Try to label spoilers when you can.

6. Is it not covered?

If you have a question that's not covered on the FAQ or here, then feel free to message your mod on this account or at ([plurk.com profile] savingdaisydiva).
