Locations

Foyer
It looks more like a lobby to a fine hotel than a castle. Black and white marble make a checker board pattern that follows into the audience chamber. The walls are clad in dark wood panels lined with gold torches. Several benches are next to the walls. Various landscape paintings hang on the walls.
The center piece, however, has to to be the large ornate grandfather clock next to the door to the library. Carved out of a lighter wood, it's carved in the shape of a tree with the roots sinking into the floor. The face of the clock is in what should be the center of the tree. It loudly proclaims the hours throughout the castle no matter where you are.
Instead of doors leading to outside the castle there is, instead, a large window showing a misty coastline at dusk. At least the waves are soothing?
Audience Chamber
Even if it's called the audience chamber, it would be more correctly called the throne room. An elaborate room with marble pillars holding up an arched ceiling with mirrors in many of the alcoves of the room the eye is drawn to the balcony at the far end of the room.
A large gold throne lined with red velvet is sitting on the balcony pressed against the wall. It probably could sit more than one person easily. Maybe if you could somehow get up to it--though, curtains keep the balcony hidden from view at night.
Other than the Queen talking down at her friends, this room doesn't seem useful yet.
Library
The largest room on the first floor, the library is even grander than the audience chamber. Not only are the walls lined with bookshelves there are plenty of aisles to browse. There is plenty of fiction to look through: from fairy tales and simple picture books to literary classics for the more voracious reader, there is a lot to choose from. The nonfiction section is sparse in comparison: there are labels for what should go there but the shelves are almost empty except for some animal magazines and the entire biography section.
As of Week 2, some non-fiction books have been returned to this section. Admittedly, you'll have to sort through them yourselves, though.
There’s a large circular area in the middle of the library with both tables and comfy chairs to read at.
Media Room
A small room but due to the huge size of the castle, it probably could fit most of you at once. There's an old television that's the centerpiece of the room. For some reason, there's a VCR player attached to it despite the fact that the VCR player likely wasn't made to fit with the television. It works, somehow, and there's a huge cabinet next to it with a bunch of VHS tapes. As long as it's a fictional movie, you probably can find a copy of anything you want there even if it never came out on VHS.
An old jukebox is in the corner with a wide variety of music. There's another smaller cabinet with various board games and enough tables for everyone to play. Of course, there's seating for everyone.
Garden
A flower garden filled with all sorts of colorful blossoms. There's even a sprawling oak tree to sleep under. Several tables are set up out here if you want to spend time in the eternal daylight. There's only bushes surrounding the edge of the garden so it might seem easy to step outside the bounds of the castle...except if you try you end up back in the foyer.
At least you can get a good look at your surroundings and of the castle itself. Outside the bushes there is a sprawling idyllic meadow, butterflies included. The castle looks odd, though. It seems to be crumbling apart at the seams, a medieval ruin, yet the interior and even the garden doesn't seem to match that.
As of Week 4, there is a new tree in the garden! Next to the oak tree is a large beautiful apple tree you might remember might have once been Manaka. How can you tell it's the same one? The beat up plastic doll arm sticking out of the trunk. Luckily there's no blood or trace of Manaka here anymore. Except for the fact that now at random times you can hear her whispering the word Saber or giggling throughout the garden. At least the apples are good? Even if you find poppy seeds in them instead of apple seeds. Huh.
As of Week 6 there's a large beanstalk growing up into the sky. The whole plant is covered in sharp thorns. However, like the plant that crushed Nagisa it can move. Do be careful in the garden now. The beanstalk is growing at a rapid rate, overtaking the garden.
Dining Hall
A rustic room lit by chandelier. There's a long table with benches in the center of the room. It's always covered with fresh food and drink. As stated in the IC Rules, the selection will change over the day fitting whatever meal is closest. Is there a special dish you love from home? You'll be able to find it here! Want a burger for breakfast? The Queen doesn't understand but there probably is a plate of them somewhere.
There's also a stocked juice bar and soda fountain. There's also several vending machines that will give you junk food and bottled drinks.
A very large vending machine is next to the door leading towards the bedrooms. Unlike the others there aren't any noticeable advertisements for what it holds. There is, however, an outline of a crown on the side above the coin slot. A plaque underneath it reads: My dear friends, you've given so much to me already I thought I might give you a few gifts! Could this be the place to use those mysterious crown coins that show up in your bedroom?
As of the start of Week 4, some new residents have appeared in the dining hall. You might recognize the four blonde dolls of various ages from Coriander's execution. They seem to have taken up residence in the dining hall, making themselves comfortable high up on the vending machines out of reach. All but the oldest male doll (two women and a boy) giggle to themselves at night. They also move when you're not looking.
Portrait Gallery (PG)
A hallway lined with portraits of...you and your fellow captives? There are even full portraits of the Alices. These stupid dolls. There are plaques beneath the portraits with information, as well. There doesn't seem to be any room for extra portraits? Really?
Laundry Room (L)
Apparently, even in a mystical castle, you might want to keep your clothes clean. The walls of the room are lined with noisy washers and dryers that always are running; thankfully the noise doesn’t seem to leave the room. Several hampers and baskets are stacked in the center of the room. The machines can’t be opened but a note hanging on one of the machines explains the room.
It seems that all you have to do is put your dirty clothes in one of the hampers, in fifteen minutes they will vanish and an hour after that reappear folded in a basket ready to be taken back to your room. Even the Queen knows that laundry is a necessary pain.
Bathrooms (B)
Just some regular bathrooms. Not as lush as the ones in your bedroom suite but serviceable.
Bedroom Suites
Each room is finely decorated. A soft bed, a wardrobe with several outfits from home, another old fashioned TV in the corner with a VCR (though, you'll have to take tapes from the media room)... even an attached bathroom with a tub! Not to mention a separate shower? What more could you want?
Why, you even get a window! Each room has a different view. What that view is up to you, the player, as long as it's a landscape with no people in it (dead or otherwise). Animals or monsters are fine, though. Of course, the definition of what a 'person' is defined what 'people' are back where they come from. Basically non-sentient things are fine.
Why are there so many rooms when there's not that many people? Who knows. The Queen does and she's not saying. For now, all the unoccupied rooms are locked. For those who are into security, your own rooms also lock but are always unlocked if the occupant is dead. Haha, how would that happen?
As of the second day, the empty rooms can be entered once something of theirs has been brought to the door. As long as they've been named on the list, it's possible. This doesn't work with anyone still living. You can't sneak into someone's room because you got a regain of theirs or stole their shoes.
For those that are sharing rooms with someone from the previous round, there will be a second name plate on that door once the previous occupant has been discovered. To go to that room, just press the name plate before opening the door. You're not going to suddenly be sleeping in a dead person's room, thankfully.

Stairwell
A stone room with a single stone staircase going up. For now it just leads to a wall. Perfect for pushing people off of, though.
Cup Elevator
Do you like tea? I hope you at least like tea cups. A giant teacup is at the top of the stairwell. A swinging door allows entry and some buttons along the rim tell the giant doll-like arm where to go. It only goes to the trial room when the Alices tell it to.

Festival Stalls
By far, this area is the largest in the entire castle. For those keeping track this area is almost as large as the entire first floor! Row and row of stalls line this area. Japanese style snacks, carnival games, fortune telling tents and American fair food collide. You can win prizes at the games or eat food that isn’t normally found in the dining hall.
Lit up by strings of electric lights, this area is under a starry night sky. Each stall is occupied by a paper cut out of a person. These generic paper cut outs populate the festival stalls area. It’s… kind of creepy, actually.
Outdoor Arcade
In a place that never rains, never could rain, why not have your arcade games outside? This seems to be the way that the Alices think. Among the rolling hills of this area various arcade machines from the classic to the futuristic pop up around like flowers. Heck, they might even be like flowers considering that there’s power cords to be found here.
The night sky here has no stars but who needs them when you have an ocean of flashing screens?
As of week 5, the arcade machine from Yuniko's execution can be played freely. All you can do is shoot her in the heart over and over as the blood spills from the machine. It always cleans up after a round, though. If left idle the title screen is just Yuniko. A constant stream of beeps come from the machine as if she was saying something as many exclamation marks scrawl across the screen.
Bathrooms
More bathrooms? Have some more bathrooms.
Picnic Area
Set apart a little from the other amusements of this area, this area seems to be a nice place to relax in the outdoors. There’s no tall trees here but plenty of picnic tables. There’s even a small outdoor kitchen area with grills. Just, don’t. Set anyone on fire, alright?
Speaking of fire there’s a fire pit, too. Nearby (but not too near, of course) is a vending machine that dispenses fireworks and matches. The Alices can’t just keep doing this, can they?
At least there’s a small pond here that you can probably get water from to stop any accidental fires.
Rides
A roller coaster? A ferris wheel? A carousel? Sure. Any ride you can imagine is probably here in some shape or form. Admittedly, most of them are made out of doll parts. None of them are up to code so maybe accidents will happen… or maybe not. The Alices are undecided.

Many candles are dug into the walls of this giant cave. The only source of natural light is from the cave’s mouth into Lion Cove.
Pirate Playground
Arrgh, my friends! A shipwrecked ship called the White Knight has been hauled into the center of this large cave. Someone has thoughtfully put a few slides in it. There’s even a climbing wall! Basically, the poor White Knight is now just a giant piece of playground equipment. You can even steer it! To nowhere, but still. A long rope dangles from the ceiling if you wish to be brave.
There’s also some actual cannons on the shore. Plus, giant water balloons. You can even stage mock battles with the Unicorn! I mean, you could shoot other things like hunks of rock from the pit out of them but that’s no fun.
The Pit
Fossils? Precious rock (candy)? This little pit area is set into some clay that will allow you to do some excavation. There’s some chisels and hammers here to help get some possibly real fossils (...or are they made out of candy? Lick it to find out) or even some precious (candy) gems! Fun!
Graveyard (GY)
Some spooky headstones are placed around this sandy area set into the wall. Little cardboard cutouts of your standard sheet wearing ghosts float around. Many tombstones are in this area but strangely only those that have been murdered or killed by the Cat have their names here. The others are blank and there are no markings for those executed. There are different sort memorials for them in different parts of the castle.
The Good Ship Unicorn (U)
Another pirate ship? Yes! This time it floats! Admittedly, it can’t go anywhere but hey! That’s cool, right? Pirates are cool with kids these days, right? Right? The Alices sure hope so. You can get in a row boat to get to the Unicorn and back. You can even fight with the Unicorn’s own water cannons against those on the shore.
Under the deck you can probably figure out why it won’t go anywhere. The inside is an aquarium full of exotic and odd fish. Like an actual fish made out of gold or a dogfish with fur.
Lion Cove
A proper swimming area at last! There’s a good selection of swimsuits in a small changing area near the shore. You can swim in these warm tropical waters around the mouth of the cave. And I do mean mouth. The cove seems to be inside the mouth of a giant stone lion? You can’t go far outside the mouth area without being returned to the elevator. There are some water slides built into some of the stone teeth plus a few rope swings.

Hall of Mirrors (Hall)
Gleaming, glittery fun! This entire area of the floor is covered in fun house mirrors. It surrounds the train and the city center. Become tall, become thin, become a duck or a dragon or a tine. Heck, even become a doll like the Alices! These illusory mirrors are quite fun to play in as you wander the area. Ignore the shadow figures that might appear behind you in them or the rapping of a small hand against the mirror.
Reflections can't hurt you. Can they?
City Center
Located at the apex of the hall of mirrors, the city center is a miniature version of any quaint, turn of the century town. Riding on the miniature train will give you a great overview of the whole place, which is just under half the size of the audience hall downstairs. The buildings are just big enough for a small child to enter and play in comfortably, many of them just under six feet tall. There are fake storefronts—a pet store, a candy store, a toy store, etc.—and a replica park complete with duck pond. The pond is fake, of course. It’s just a blue mat with some stuffed animals and lily pads with a sign next to it reading “Please Don’t Feed the Ducks.” At the center of everything is a miniature town hall, complete with a Big Ben replica clock tower that rings loudly to keep the time.
Miniature Train
Around the perimeter of the city center is a miniature train that is sturdy enough for a large person to sit on and ride it around. The tracks go through some rolling miniature hills covered in felt. Stuffed sheep and cows are set around these hills to give them some 'life'. Don't forget to pull the whistle as you go around the city center! There's enough room for everyone here.
Julys
After your visit to the city center, you must be hungry. You can find everything you want at your friendly neighborhood Julys store! Everything’s fake, of course, perfect replicas of brand name foods and household goods in empty packaging. The back wall features kid-friendly electronics like etch-a-sketches, kids’ karaoke machines, and miniature tablets with age-appropriate apps installed. There’s even a food court where you can order a perfect replica of any of your favorite fast-food brands! And what’s this? The food in the food court is actually real! All of the cashiers are more paper people, and they’re happy to play out a fun game of pretend shopping.
Stay in Julys long enough and you might just get their catchy jingle stuck in your head: “You’ll love it here at our Julys!”
Paradise Museum
Once you're done shopping at Julys or building a friends maybe it's time to have some fun at an educational center. This museum seems to have a strange theme of an idealized form of history. Doll-like exhibits of family scenes in quaint apartments, dioramas of large parks with families eating picnics together, large pictures of city life in London, exhibit and exhibit of old fashion toys and games... These amazing exhibits seem to mingle with the surreal such as a room filled with nothing but tin cans or an empty one with bare brick walls and the steady hum of a plane engine.
While the Alices will go to this area there is a wing of the museum that seems to a replica of a hospital. They never go there.
Build-a-Friend
Your numbers are getting quite thin now but the Alices have provided you some reinforcements. Stuffed animals! In this fun, child friendly area you can make as many bears or cats or dogs or any animal (yes, even mini-Tines) you can think of. Of course, you can make stuffed human-shaped dolls as well. No reason to leave out any non-human friends out of the fun, after all!
There's also a small workshop with various crafting tools for leather-working or sewing not to mention plenty of manuals! All to help you make some new friends. Why is there a book of taxidermy, here?

This area is fairly overgrown and underused. Many bushes and vines cover the various buildings as constant animal sounds make this area feel alive. The sun barely shines down from the canopy as great canyon walls form natural barriers.
Tree House
A normal tree house! Made from a sturdy jungle tree there's plenty to climb and swing from. The inside has some furniture and a small fridge filled with snacks. There's even a small Zedcube with a lot of games stuck into a miniature TV. A plaque on the wall proclaims an order by the Storyteller that it's okay to sleep here. You'll need to bring something up here to sleep on, though.
River
A river running through the canyon. It seems to be made out of chocolate? For some reason. You can drink freely here and there are even rafts for some chocolate river rafting!
Zoo
A large zoo filled with... stuffed animals? These animals are more like the cardboard cutouts throughout the castle. That is, they actually move around and seem to be alive in some manner. They can be fed or observed through iron fences. Don't touch, though, they bite. Or do. The Storyteller isn't your mom.
Bridge
A simple suspension bridge over the chocolate river.
Observation Tower (O)
A large wooden building that allows you to view up over the canyon's ledge. The jungle is pretty thick but there seems to be a large blizzard on the horizon? Huh. There's plenty of benches here, though, so you can have some rest from your hike.
Hunting Lodge (HL)
Welcome to the Red Queen Hunting Lodge. Rose vines instead of normal vines cover this particular building. A large stuffed lion head is over the entrance. It seems to glare at you as you wander in. A large soda bar manned by a rather friendly cardboard cutout greets you in. Leather seats let you relax. Various water guns are perched everywhere for quick use. Large taxidermy animal and dinosaur heads are on the walls. There's even a pinball machine in the corner.
There are various items from first aid kits to sleeping bags to animal traps in a storeroom here. A sign proclaims that you're able to sleep in the hunting lodge by order of the Storyteller.
Hall of Doors (DH)
An odd hallway is carved into the rock. When you step into it you'll find it's actually a wooden hallway. Doors of various sizes and shapes line the hallway. A large hospital door is at the end of the hallway rusted shut. It won't open for now.
